Job summary

Air Liquide is seeking an Analyzer Technician for its Bayport, TX facility. The role focuses on installing, calibrating, repairing, and maintaining advanced analytical equipment to assure product quality and regulatory compliance.

You will work with control systems, support plant operations, and document all calibration and maintenance activities. Ideal candidates have a 2-year technical diploma, CMMS familiarity, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 year technical school diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge of use of a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
Highly organized with ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
Ability to maintain, repair, and calibrate analyzers, transmitters, control valves, etc.
Basic understanding of the facility’s control system and ability to develop detailed understanding.
Thorough knowledge of MCC/switchgear operation and safety aspects.
Basic understanding of the facility’s processes to develop detailed understanding.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to operate forklift and other machinery.
Candidates must have valid US work authorization; no visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Install, calibrate, repair, and maintain complex process analytical equipment.
Serve as the link between physical chemistry, electronics, and plant operations to ensure product quality and process control.
Troubleshoot analyzer failures and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
Develop an understanding of MCC/switchgear and control networks within the plant.
Document equipment logs, calibration records, and ISO-compliant documentation.
