Delmar Nord seeks a Director to join its Chicago-based investment team. You will lead origination, manage deal teams, and mentor junior professionals across the full investment lifecycle.

You will partner with senior professionals and management teams to drive value creation, oversee portfolio companies, and shape growth initiatives in North American industrial businesses. You will work closely with management teams, boards, and advisors, taking leadership from origination through closing.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of private equity or related experience with deals led from origination to close.
• Strong sector exposure preferred in Industrials, Diversified Industrials, or related fields.
• Advanced financial modeling and valuation capabilities.
• Proven track record of building relationships with management teams and intermediaries.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for investment committee presentations.

Responsabilités

• Lead origination efforts across industrial subsectors and maintain key relationships.
• Oversee investment pipeline, prioritize opportunities, and drive deal teams.
• Direct due diligence with accounting, legal, and operational advisors.
• Lead negotiations and financing processes, including lender relations.
• Serve on portfolio company boards and mentor junior investment professionals.
• Support exit planning and value creation initiatives.
