Job summary

JP Cullen, a Wisconsin-based construction management firm, seeks a Director of Preconstruction for its Industrial Division. The role reports to the Executive VP and leads the Preconstruction and Estimating Group, focusing on process/manufacturing markets and a wide range of project types.

The candidate will develop strategies to win work, mentor team members, and ensure high-quality estimates while coordinating with clients, architects, engineers, and trade partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience with at least 5 years in managing preconstruction activities.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience in Industrial, process, and manufacturing markets preferred.
• Experience with EPC and/or Design-Build projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the preconstruction team across multiple project types.
• Develop and execute strategies to win work and deliver high-quality estimates.
• Monitor progress to meet deadlines and milestones.
• Grow team capabilities and hiring plans.
• Maintain strong client relationships and coordinate with architects, engineers, and subs.
