Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Porter for a company based in Sugar Land, Texas. The position offers a pay rate of $16.50 per hour and a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. As a Porter you will clean facilities, handle waste, operate floor scrubbers, stock supplies, and report safety issues. This role requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least 6 months of porter experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 6+ months porter experience preferred.
• Familiar with cleaning and sanitizing techniques.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for long hours.

Responsibilities

• Clean buildings by trash removal, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and surface cleaning.
• Use cleaning solutions and PPE to remove stains and sanitize surfaces.
• Operate indoor floor scrubber machines when needed.
• Clean parking lots, walkways, entryways, and hallways.
• Report defective materials or unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
• Cross-train on other duties as assigned.
