Job summary

Universal Orlando Resort is seeking a highly skilled plumbing technician responsible for servicing and repairing all plumbing systems, utilities, and infrastructure across the facility. The role requires adherence to NSF, ADA and state codes, with strong emphasis on safety and operational reliability.

Qualifications include 6+ years in industrial/commercial plumbing maintenance, 1+ year in a theme park setting, and a valid Florida Driver’s License.

Qualifications

• Technical school is preferred.
• Associate degree (AA) is preferred.
• 6+ years in industrial/conmercial construction, maintenance facility, or fast-paced plumbing repair.
• 1+ year in theme park industry preferred.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair all Universal Orlando plumbing systems in compliance with NSF, ADA, and State Plumbing codes.
• Maintain infrastructure and operate high‑pressure jetting and sewer equipment.
• Service natural gas systems including pipes, valves and fittings.
• Operate boiler systems; perform daily conductivity tests; maintain safety controls.
• Service water-based fire protection systems (hydrants, sprinklers, pumps, backflow preventers).
• Follow Environmental, Health & Safety policies and participate in related activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
