Job summary
APEL Extrusions, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Maintenance Plumber / Pipefitter to install, maintain and repair industrial piping systems, valves, pumps and related equipment at the Phoenix facility.
You will diagnose leaks, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, read blueprints, and assist with installations and plant improvement projects, working with maintenance and operations teams to keep systems safe and reliable.
Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude with problem-solving skills.
- Experience in industrial plumbing, pipefitting, maintenance, or related trade.
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools; basic welding/fabrication a plus.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair leaks in piping systems, fittings, valves, pumps, and process equipment.
- Install, modify, and maintain industrial piping systems.
- Replace, rebuild, and repair valves and actuators; troubleshoot pumps and regulators.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on utility and process systems.
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and plant improvements.
