Job summary

EMI Services is seeking a Plumber I to join our team and help maintain and upgrade plumbing systems at a U.S. government facility. The role includes corrective and preventative work to ensure safety and reliability, with an emphasis on adherence to codes and standards.

The ideal candidate will hold certifications in pipefitting, steam fitting, or sprinkler systems, possess a Top Secret/S SCI eligibility, and have a U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years’ plumbing experience in an industrial or commercial facilities maintenance environment.
• Certification/licensed in pipefitting, steam fitting, or sprinkler systems.
• MUST have a Top Secret Clearance with SCI or SCI Eligibility.
• Valid driver’s license compliant with REAL ID Act or willing and able to obtain one.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• U. S. citizenship to obtain and maintain access to military installations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and upgrade plumbing equipment.
• Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on all plumbing related equipment.
• Install and/or repair various plumbing equipment such as water heaters, drinking fountains, toilets, sinks, etc.
