Job summary

EMI Services is seeking a Lead HVAC Technician specializing in commercial HVAC for Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling. The Technician will perform maintenance, repair, replacement, and modernization to achieve regulated climatic conditions, with expertise to diagnose and correct malfunctions.

*This is a working lead and technical expert role requiring supervision of tasks, safety compliance, and coordination with the supervisor for efficient operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• EPA Universal Refrigeration License is required.
• HVAC course or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work on various HVAC units including chillers, air handlers, and package units.
• Prepare work orders and material estimates.
• May train lower-level workers in mechanical repair techniques.
• Adhere to safety standards and PPE protocols.
