Job summary

Polar Semiconductor seeks a skilled Plumber for 1st shift in Bloomington, MN. This on-site, full-time role maintains and repairs critical plumbing systems across factory and office spaces to ensure uninterrupted operations.

You will install fixtures, water and waste lines, troubleshoot issues, and support piping projects with engineers. Ideal candidates have at least four years of plumbing experience, knowledge of piping codes, and the ability to read P&ID diagrams.

Qualifications

• A minimum of four years’ experience as a plumber.
• Proficient in installation of plumbing fixtures and piping.
• Knowledge of plumbing codes and best practices.
• Can read P&ID diagrams and perform basic calculations.
• Experience with hazardous waste management and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair facility plumbing systems and fixtures.
• Respond to maintenance requests to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing equipment using manuals and diagrams.
• Assist Engineers with specifications for plumbing installations.
• Develop material take-offs and manage piping orders.
• Support safety, CQI, 5S, and yield improvement initiatives.
