Job summary

Polar Semiconductor in Bloomington, MN on-site is seeking a skilled Plumber for 1st shift. You will install, maintain, and repair critical plumbing systems across manufacturing and office areas to support uninterrupted operations.

Responsibilities include responding to maintenance requests, troubleshooting equipment, and collaborating with Engineers on specifications. Four years of plumber experience and knowledge of plumbing codes are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years’ experience as a plumber.
• Proficient in installation of plumbing fixtures, equipment, and piping types.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and industry best practices.
• Hands-on experience with piping installation, maintenance, replacement, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic technical calculations.
• Ability to read P&ID diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair facility plumbing systems and utilities for manufacturing and office areas.
• Respond to maintenance requests to ensure uninterrupted plumbing operations.
• Troubleshoot and repair installed equipment using manuals and collaboration with technicians.
• Contribute to specifications for plumbing installation and maintenance with Equipment Engineers.
• Develop material take-offs and manage piping project orders.
• Support quality, safety, environmental, and cost-containment initiatives.
