Job summary
Viable Engineering Solutions LLC in Orlando, Florida is seeking a skilled PLC Programmer to design, develop, test, and commission industrial automation and control systems. Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Controls Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of PLC programming experience in an industrial manufacturing or automation environment.
- Experience with Allen-Bradley RSLogix 5000 / Studio 5000, Siemens TIA Portal / Step 7, Beckhoff TwinCAT.
- Strong understanding of electrical controls and automation systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and control drawings.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain PLC programs for industrial automation systems.
- Develop and configure HMI/SCADA applications for machine and process control.
- Program and troubleshoot PLC platforms such as AB, Siemens, and Beckhoff.
- Develop machine sequences and control logic for automated equipment.
- Configure industrial networks (EtherNet/IP, Profinet, Modbus, EtherCAT).
- Integrate sensors, VFDs, servos, robotics, and safety devices.
- Create electrical schematics, I/O lists, and technical documentation.
- Perform system testing, debugging, FATs, SATs, and commissioning activities.
