Job summary

Vance Airscoop is seeking a Computer Programmer / PLC & HMI Programmer to join our industrial team in Florida. You will develop, modify, document, and troubleshoot machine-control software focusing on PLC ladder logic and HMI programming, while supporting customers.

You should be comfortable translating electrical schematics into running control programs, working independently, and communicating progress to the team. Proficiency with Allen-Bradley tools and FactoryTalk View SE is essential.

Qualifications

• Proficient in PLC ladder logic and able to translate schematics into working PLC programs.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley programming software and ladder logic.
• Experience with HMI development using FactoryTalk View SE.
• Familiarity with RSView32 and older operator-interface software.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; good documentation practices.
• Clear, professional communication and teamwork; self-motivated and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, document, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI programs.
• Support customers remotely and troubleshoot machine-control issues.
• Review electrical schematics and project docs to implement I/O and logic.
• Provide clear progress updates to the team and maintain technical docs.
