Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical Associates degree preferred.
• 2+ years of technical training or operations experience.
• Ability to work extended hours/shift work as business needs dictate.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and possibly holidays.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Knowledge of instrumentation, rotating equipment and piping systems.
• Familiarity with lockout/tagout and safety procedures.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Forklift, man lift and overhead crane qualification preferred.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate an overall understanding of plant safety rules and policies.
• Maintain safety practices and model safety for others.
• Work safely in all situations and follow SOPs.
• Identify maintenance needs and enter them into Maximo.
• Perform work per procedures with proper permits and energy controls.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies for contractors and staff.
• Acquire knowledge of plant operations, processes and equipment.
• Read blueprints, P&IDs, schematics and basic math operations.
• Keep accurate records and maintain documentation as required.
• Perform operator rounds, water sampling, and PMs.
• Maintain housekeeping and organizational standards.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by Plant Management.
