Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of technical training or operations experience.
• Ability to work extended hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver's license.
• Knowledge of instrumentation, rotating equipment and piping systems.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements (Process Safety Management, EPA, FDA).

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates understanding of plant safety rules, regulations and policies.
• Instills safety by modelling good practices.
• Works safely in all situations.
• Identifies maintenance needs and enters them into Maximo.
• Performs work per SOPs, including permits and energy control.
• Ensures compliance with safety policies by contractors and visitors.
• Gathers knowledge of plant operations and equipment.
• Reads blueprints, ISO drawings and electrical schematics.
• Keeps accurate records and documentation.
• Performs operator rounds, water samples and truck loading.
