Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC through WECTEC Staffing Services seeks a shift-based operator to perform minor and routine operating duties, support electro-static precipitators and fly ash systems, and assist peers in daily plant operations.

The role requires an associate degree in electronics/electromechanical, a valid State Driver's License, and the ability to read blueprints and use plant tools. Safety and compliance are emphasized across the shift.

Qualifications

• Two-year associate degree in electronics, electromechanical, or equivalent technical specialty.
• Must hold a valid State Driver's License.
• Ability to read and work from simple blueprints/specifications and operate required plant tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned shift and support operation of electro-static precipitators and fly ash conveyance systems.
• Assist workers of equal or higher classification in daily plant operations, maintenance tasks, and structural upkeep.
• Perform general plant cleaning, inspect shipments and parts, and maintain tools and vehicles in a safe, orderly condition.
• Investigate complaints, adhere to OSHA and safety laws, and ensure safe work practices on the shift.
