Job summary

Matheson Tri-Gas seeks an ASU Maintenance Technician in Pass Christian, MS, to ensure predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical and process systems. You may cover Plant Operator duties during vacations or absences, reporting to the ASU Plant Manager.

Key tasks include PM inspections, corrective actions, troubleshooting, MAPS CMMS administration, and maintaining safety and quality records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• 1–3 years of technical degree or equivalent industry experience.
• 4–6 years of maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with compressors (centrifugal, reciprocating, screw), pumps, valves and expanders (Preferred).
• Experience with CMMS implementation and administration.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment inspections and preventative maintenance (PM) activities.
• Oversee corrective maintenance and replacement of process equipment.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and coordinate with management for corrective action.
• Utilize MAPS CMMS to schedule and document maintenance tasks.
• Read and interpret process diagrams, wiring schematics and equipment manuals.
