Job summary

Lhoist North America in Calera, Alabama is seeking a Laborer to support safe, efficient plant operations in an industrial manufacturing environment with kilns. You will perform general labor, material handling, and housekeeping duties while following strict safety rules and PPE requirements.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED, willingness to learn, and the ability to work rotating shifts in a dusty, hot environment. Prior experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Willingness to learn new tasks and equipment.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in hot environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and PPE compliance in all tasks.
• Support kiln, production, and maintenance operations.
• Perform material handling and equipment assistance.
• Maintain housekeeping and environmental stewardship in areas.
• Work as part of a team and follow instructions on priorities.
