Job summary

City Facilities Management (US) LLC is seeking a Trades Instructor with deep experience in industrial process piping and steam systems for Boeing Plant 2 in Seattle, WA. You will teach plumbing, steam, and water distribution topics to maintenance technicians, lead hands-on labs, and support apprenticeship programs.

The role requires 10+ years in related trades, strong teaching and communication skills, and willingness to travel occasionally for training sessions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years in industrial plumbing, steam systems, or related trades.
• Deep knowledge of piping materials and installation methods.
• Experience training adults in technical settings.
• Strong presentation and troubleshooting abilities.
• Knowledge of safety practices and regulatory compliance.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for training sessions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and hands-on training in industrial piping and steam systems.
• Lead sessions for maintenance technicians in piping, valves, and boilers.
• Support apprenticeship programs and curriculum development.
• Assist other instructors with course delivery and labs.
• Develop and update training materials and assessments.
• Promote safety and industry best practices across trainings.
• Demonstrate safe work practices and site compliance.
• Provide guidance on system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Occasionally lead evening or second-shift sessions.
