Job summary

IMMEC is seeking an Industrial Piping Fitter in Social Circle, GA to perform welding, fabrication, and installation of complex industrial piping systems. The role requires reading prints, schematics, and service manuals, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality in a field setting.

Responsibilities include field and shop work, operation of equipment, and collaborating with the maintenance team to ensure schedule adherence. OSHA 30 certification preferred or obtainable on site.

Qualifications

• Ability to read diagrams, schematics and service manuals.
• Must obtain OSHA 30 Certification.

Responsibilities

About this position

IMMEC Inc is looking for a skilled Industrial Pipe Fitter/Welders to complete complex industrial mechanical and process piping projects. You will provide piping services to a variety of industrial clients. The successful candidate must have a knowledge of mathematics and mechanics as well as respect for safety best practices.

• Welding

• Monitors the welding and fitting process to ensure compliance with industry best practices
• Maintains and organizes, tools, equipment and the overall work site
• Maintains job quality and ensures schedule compliance
• SMAW welding and field fabrication skills. TIG, GMAW and FCAW a plus
• Rigging and signal person a plus
• Industrial maintenance and repair
• Operate aerial man lifts and powered fork truck lifts.
