Job summary

IMMEC Inc is seeking a skilled Millwright to operate a variety of machines and provide millwright services to diverse industrial clients. The candidate should apply strong math and mechanical knowledge with a strict emphasis on safety.

Responsibilities include welding support, rigging, reading blueprints, maintenance, alignment, and precise component installation. The role requires safety awareness and the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex systems.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of mathematics and mechanics is required.
  • Experience with interpreting blueprints, diagrams and service manuals.
  • Ability to perform planned maintenance and diagnose faults on industrial equipment.
  • Must be safety conscious and able to obtain OSHA 30.
  • Welding and field fabrication skills are a plus.
  • Read and interpret schematics and drive alignment of gear trains.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a variety of machines to perform tasks as assigned.
  • Perform predictive and planned maintenance on industrial equipment.
  • Repair and replace parts/components and perform emergency repairs.
  • Read blueprints and schematics to install and align components.
  • Operate rigging equipment and signal person for lifts.
  • Maintain safety and documentation during field work.

Job description

IMMEC Inc is looking for a skilled Millwright to operate a variety of machines to perform assigned tasks. You will provide millwright services to a variety of industrial clients. The successful candidate must have a knowledge of mathematics and mechanics as well as respect for safety best practices.

Responsibilities
  • SMAW welding and field fabrication skills. TIG, GMAW and FCAW a plus.
  • Rigging and signal person
  • read and interpret blue prints
  • Industrial maintenance and repair
  • Knowledge of drives, gear boxes, couplings and precision alignment
  • Operate aerial and powered fork truck lifts.
  • Perform predictive and planned maintenance on industrial equipment
  • Emergency repairs

  • Ability to use precision tools (e.g., calipers) to take accurate measurements

  • Fit bearings, align gears and shafts attach motors and connect couplings, chains and belts
