Job summary

Teknikor in Fall River, MA is seeking an experienced Industrial Pipefitter / Welder to lay out, fit, install, modify and repair process piping across materials. You will work independently within a multi-trade crew on machine/process piping projects.

The role requires proficiency with multiple materials and joining methods, welding capability, and willingness to travel, including overnight assignments. Competitive pay and strong benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of hands-on industrial pipefitting experience.
• Ability to lay out and install piping from prints, isometrics, P&IDs, and field measurements.
• Proficiency with PVC/CPVC, copper, galvanized, stainless steel, and black steel.
• Experience with ProPress, MegaPress, Victaulic/grooved, threaded, soldered/brazed, and welded systems.
• Welding/pipe-fit-up capability for industrial installation.
• Ability to troubleshoot piping systems and perform pressure testing, inspection, modification, and repair.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at height in industrial environments.
• Valid drivers license and willingness to travel, including overnight/weekend assignments.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, fabricate, install, modify, and repair industrial process and utility piping from drawings and project requirements.
• Work with various piping materials and joining methods as required by the system.
• Fit and weld carbon and stainless piping using MIG, TIG, or Stick processes as needed.
• Install process water, chilled water, compressed air, hydraulic, gas, steam, chemical, drain, and machine utility piping.
• Coordinate with plumbers, millwrights, electricians, and project leadership on installations.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies.
