Job summary

Westmor Industries in Hugo, MN is seeking an Industrial Pipefitter/Welder to install pipe and control systems for customers in the fuel storage and distribution sector. The role requires reading blueprints, pipefitting expertise, and the ability to work with various welding and fabrication tools.

The position involves traveling to job sites, following blueprints, and performing assigned duties with safety and precision in mind.

Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints.
• Pipefitting experience required.
• Experience installing, maintaining and repairing high or low-pressure pipe systems.
• Knowledge of pipe fabrication, alignment and stress relief.

• Perform any and all job functions requested regardless of classification.
• Operate and maintain equipment safely — Stick/SMAW welder, Oxy/Acetylene, Grinders, Belt Sanders, Drills, Positioner Tables, Chop Saw, Forklift, etc.
• Lay out a job based off blueprints and efficiently working with pipefitting tools and materials to complete the tasks.
• Use basic hand tools for disassembly/assembly.
• Travel is required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description

An Industrial Pipefitter/Welder is responsible for completing the following duties:

• Install pipe and control systems for our customers in the fuel storage and distribution industry
• Perform any and all job functions requested regardless of classification
• Operate and maintain equipment safely - Stick/SMAW welder, Oxy/Acetylene, Grinders, Belt Sanders, Drills, Positioner Tables, Chop Saw, Forklift, etc
• Lay out a job based off blueprints and efficiently working with pipefitting tools and materials to complete the tasks
• Use basic hand tools for disassembly/assembly
• Travel is required
• Other duties as assigned

Compensation:

The starting pay range for this position is $22.00 to $28.00 per hour. Final compensation will depend on various factors including: skills, experience, and location.
