Qualifications

• 2+ years of industrial experience in pipe fabrication and welding, including pipefitting and layouts.
• Experience with stick, TIG and MIG welding methods is required.
• Ability to read blueprints and calculate take-offs.

Responsibilities

• Performs complicated industrial installation, connection, maintenance and repair of pipelines and plumbing fixtures.
• Plans major and difficult installations from blueprints, sketches and specifications.
• Lays out piping and calculates take-offs and pipefitting measurements.
• Completes welds on steel, stainless steel and other related metals using stick/MIG/TIG methods.
• Works in accordance with safety practices and sanitation standards.
