Job summary

ASR Group is seeking a skilled Pipefitter for our Louisiana facility in Arabi to install, connect, maintain and repair pipelines and plumbing fixtures, following blueprints and specifications.

You will weld with stick, TIG, and MIG methods, work from blueprints, perform takeoffs, and join a team committed to safety; a high school diploma or GED is preferred, with at least 2 years industrial pipefitting experience and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industrial pipe fabrication and welding experience.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to read blueprints, calculate takeoffs and perform pipefitting measurements.

Responsibilities

• Performs industrial installation, connection, maintenance and repair of pipelines and plumbing fixtures.
• Plans major installations from blueprints and specs.
• Completes welds on steel, stainless steel and related metals using stick/mig/tig methods.
• Adheres to safety practices and sanitation standards.
