Qualifications

• Four years of experience in layout, installation, and maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Determines methods and materials needed to accomplish tasks.
• Interprets sketches, plans, and blueprints for piping work.
• Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains piping systems and supports.
• Installs and repairs piping joints using various methods.
• Performs lockout and tag procedures to secure equipment.
• Inspects site for obstructions and structural safety.
• Bends, cuts, threads, and fabricates piping as required.
• Dismantles equipment to access defective parts and components.
• Performs safety-related duties and keeps work area clean.
• Documents repair and maintenance activities and coordinates with helpers.
