You will read blueprints and schematics, measure and cut pipes, and ensure installations meet safety and building codes. The role involves teamwork with welders and plumbers, strict adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work in varied conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints, isometric drawings, and specifications.
• Ability to measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes with standard tools.
• Collaborate with welders, plumbers and other trades on job sites.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and specifications.
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes using tools such as saws, pipe cutters, and pipe-bending machines.
• Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment.
• Install supports, such as brackets and hangers, to secure piping systems.
• Conduct pressure tests to ensure pipe systems are leak-free.
• Work with carbon steel, stainless steel, PVC, and copper.
• Maintain and repair piping systems and components.
• Collaborate with welders, plumbers, and other tradespeople on job sites.
• Adhere to safety procedures and protocols.
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide maintenance as needed.
