Job summary

4C2 Industrial is hiring a Pipefitter to assemble, install, and repair pipes and mechanical equipment for industrial applications. The role requires reading drawings and following codes, with a focus on safety and accuracy.

You will work with fittings, valves, heat exchangers, and piping systems across various sites. Ideal candidates have 3 years of industrial experience, strong math and technical skills, and the ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.

Qualifications

• Strong mathematical, mechanical and technical skills.
• 3 years of experience in industrial or relevant field.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, P&ID’s, and other job site drawings to ensure proper mechanical installation.
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Assemble pipe sections, tubing, or fittings using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, solvent, caulking, threading, soldering, brazing, or welding equipment.
• Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, hangers, instruments, and devices such as steam traps, regulators, and heat exchangers.
• Pull installation measurements and perform layout per drawings, codes, and instructions.
• Demonstrate knowledge of rigging for material handling.
• Perform nondestructive testing such as in-service and hydrostatic testing.
• Operate heavy equipment and machinery to perform duties safely.
• Work in hazardous materials, at heights, and in confined spaces.
• Maintain valid driver’s license and driving record.
• Work with attention to safety, punctuality, and reliability.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
