Job summary

Zachry Group is seeking a Pipe Fitter General Foreman to lead multiple pipe crews on industrial construction projects in Texas. You will oversee layout, installation and maintenance of pipe systems, and read blueprints while coordinating materials and ensuring safety and cost control across all phases.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years as an industrial pipefitter with 3+ years in supervision, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to read prints and manage schedules for crews

Qualifications

• Must have industrial construction/maintenance history.
• Ability to read prints and construction drawings.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals and instructions.
• Expert knowledge of pipe fitting processes for industrial piping and boiler components.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and specifications to determine scope, locations, quantities and sizes of materials.
• Identify tools required for tasks.
• Identify safety risks and necessary precautions.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of pipe fitting processes.
• Plan operations to schedule workloads efficiently and minimize costs.
• Manage crews regarding processes, scheduling, costs, and employee relations.
