Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and oversight to multiple pipe crews through foreman supervisors.
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily pipe installation, fabrication, maintenance, and testing activities.
  • Ensure all work is performed safely, efficiently, and per project specs and regulations.
  • Review drawings, isometrics, specifications, and work packages for proper execution.
  • Coordinate manpower, materials, tools, equipment, and work schedules to meet goals.
  • Monitor productivity, quality, and schedule performance of crews.
  • Conduct regular jobsite inspections to ensure safety and quality.
  • Collaborate with project management, engineering, QC, and other crafts to resolve issues.
  • Assist with workforce planning, employee development, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
  • Identify and resolve field issues, safety concerns, material shortages, and installation conflicts.
  • Participate in planning and safety coordination meetings and document progress.
  • Document work progress, manpower reports, and production tracking.

  • Must have basic computer skills and the ability to complete reports and documentation.
  • Must be able to identify, evaluate, and resolve field construction issues while maintaining schedule and quality requirements.
  • Must have a thorough understanding of construction safety requirements and safe work practices.
  • Must be able to effectively coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials.
  • Must be willing to follow all company directives and safety procedures.
  • Must be able to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying industrial environments as required.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
Preferred Additional Qualifications
  • Current Zachry or Zachry ROF'ed employee.
  • Previous experience working with Zachry Industrial, Inc.
  • NCCER Pipefitter Certification.
  • Experience on large industrial, refining, petrochemical, power, LNG, or manufacturing construction projects.
  • Additional supervisory, leadership, or craft-related certifications.
Reporting To:

This position is responsible for multiple piping crews led by foreman supervisors in their daily work activities. May manage 4 or more crews, each consisting of approximately 5 to 15 employees. Foremen directly report to the Pipe General Foreman, who is responsible for overall coordination, productivity, safety, quality, and schedule performance of assigned piping operations.

Physical Requirements
  • Employees will be required to engage in extensive standing, walking, bending, squatting, climbing, sitting, and lifting.
  • Will talk and hear to communicate effectively with crews, supervisors, and other personnel.
  • Will use arms and hands to handle tools, materials, equipment, and perform work-related tasks.
  • May be required to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Will work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and may occasionally work from platforms or scaffolding while utilizing required fall protection.
  • May be required to work in confined spaces and other challenging industrial environments.
  • Must be able to work in all weather conditions, including heat, rain, cold, and wind, while wearing appropriate PPE.
  • Will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including but not limited to hard hats, safety glasses, hearing protection, respirators, high-visibility vests, gloves, and steel-toed work boots.
