Job summary

JDI Industrial Services in Seneca, SC is seeking an Industrial Pipefitter to weld, install, maintain, and repair complex piping systems in factories, refineries, and chemical plants. You will read blueprints, work with CPVC piping, and ensure systems run safely and to code.

The role requires 4+ years of hands-on pipefitting experience, knowledge of steel, stainless, PVC and copper piping, and proficiency with tubing benders, threading machines, and welding equipment.

Qualifications

• 4 years of hands-on industrial pipefitting experience.
• Ability to read complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of pipefitting techniques, materials (steel, stainless steel, PVC, copper).
• Strong problem-solving and safety practices, including OSHA standards.
• Proficiency with pipefitting hand tools: tubing benders, threading machines, welding equipment.
• Teamwork and mentoring of junior pipefitters.
• Good communication and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and repair piping systems for industrial assets.
• Interpret blueprints and system specifications for installation.
• Measure, cut, thread, and prep pipe materials for projects.
• Install valves, joints, and fittings with leak-free integrity.
• Conduct pressure tests and diagnose system issues.
• Maintain and repair existing piping and respond to emergencies.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers for timely completion.
• Adhere to safety protocols and environmental regulations.
• Document work and materials for project records.
