Responsibilities

• Inspect the workplace, clear obstructions, prepare materials and equipment.
• Study blueprints and plan pipe systems and related equipment installations.
• Use tools to modify pipes to specifications.
• Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading.
• Assemble and weld pipe components and systems.
• Secure pipes to walls and fixtures with brackets and clamps.
• Repair and maintain pipe systems, supports, and related equipment.
• Clear pipe systems of obstructions and test their functionality.
• Comply with relevant codes and regulatory standards.
