Job summary

Delta Constructors is seeking a skilled Pipefitter to fabricate, assemble, install, and maintain piping systems and supports on industrial projects. The role requires reading plans and isometrics, applying geometry and metal properties, and working to ANSI/ASME standards.

The position is based in Anchorage, Alaska, with responsibilities including field assembly, testing, and ensuring safety compliance. A high school diploma and oilfield pipefitting experience are preferred, along with a valid

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; vocational training/related certification preferred.
• Three (3) years of experience as industrial Pipefitter in oilfield preferred.
• Valid Driver License with clean driving record.
• Pre-employment drug test and background check required.
• Fit-For-Duty Examination required.

Responsibilities

• Assembles component layout using geometry and knowledge of metal properties.
• Performs basic math calculations for offsets and fittings.
• Selects pipe type and size per job specs.
• Inspects worksites for obstructions and structural safety.
• Plans installation sequence to avoid conflicts with other teams.
• Preps material for welding using portable tools.
• Thread pipes using threading machine.
• Secures pipes with bolts, clamps, and hangers.
• Tests piping systems for leaks and pressure
• Reads plans, isometrics, drawings, and blueprints.
