Job summary

Loenbro is seeking a Pipe Welder for our Riggs Fabrication Facility to fit and weld carbon steel, stainless, and alloy piping for industrial projects.

You will read isometrics and blueprints, perform FCAW and GMAW, inspect welds, and maintain a safe, organized shop. 3+ years of pipe welding experience and the ability to pass Loenbro's tests are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years industrial pipe welding experience preferred.
• Must pass Loenbro welding test and applicable project weld qualifications.
• 2G, 3G GMAW/FCAW minimum requirements; 6G preferred.
• Knowledge of weld symbols and fabrication drawings.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fabrication shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform FCAW, and GMAW welding processes as required.
• Read and interpret isometric drawings, blueprints, spool sheets, and weld procedures.
• Fabricate and weld carbon steel process piping
• Inspect materials and completed welds for quality and conformance to specifications.
• Operate grinders, torches, beveling equipment, and other fabrication tools safely.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Comply with all safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.
