Above and Beyond Talent Acquisition represents an innovative industrial technology company transforming control panel manufacturing through software-enabled design and automated fabrication. Their team seeks an Assembly Technician to modify enclosures, mount components, and assemble panels on a 2nd shift, on-site in Brooklyn, NY.

The role requires a high school diploma, mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and knowledge of electrical fundamentals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanically inclined and able to perform light sheet metal modification work.
• Able to follow written instructions with attention to detail.
• Understanding of AC vs DC voltage and overcurrent protection devices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Able to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Available to work in-person in Brooklyn, NY, Monday through Friday.
• Experience in UL 508A panel shop or with industrial control panels.
• Familiar with DTM, E3, EPLAN, or AutoCAD Electrical.

Responsibilities

• Modify enclosures to include cutouts for panel-mounted devices.
• Retrieve components and maintain stockroom inventory.
• Mount components and wire panels according to work instructions.
• Complete inspection procedures to ensure correct assembly.
• Prep completed panels for shipping and assist with loading/unloading.
• Test new methods and operate prototype equipment to improve speed and quality.
