Austin Industrial is seeking a Painter/Blaster to prepare surfaces and apply coatings across equipment, parts, buildings, and machinery. You will read work orders, mix coatings, and apply paint using spray guns, brushes, and rollers in industrial settings.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of journeyman level experience.
• Must be able to work at heights and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to read and follow safety procedures and work instructions.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Reads work order and follows verbal instructions.
• Prepares surface to remove dirt, oil, grease, old paint, smooth cracks and fill holes.
• Sprays surfaces with paint using spray gun, brush or roller.
• May erect scaffolding or set up ladders for work above ground level.
• Apply paint to surfaces as directed.
• Other duties as assigned.
