Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• One to two years related painting experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• Microsoft Office experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Observe machine gauges and equipment operation to detect defects or deviations, and adjust as necessary.
• Wash and prepare product before painting; prep may include sand blasting.
• Determine paint flow, viscosity, and coating quality by inspection or using tools.
• Select coatings or prepare mixes according to specifications.
• Set up and operate painting or coating machines for products.
• Adjust air pressure and flow to regulate operations.
• Clean machines and work areas using water, solvents and other aids.
• Attach hoses or nozzles and adjust to achieve proper spray.
• Position items on racks or reels to coat or spray them.
• Mark and tag material with job numbers and identifiers.
