Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 0-1 years of related painting experience or entry-level.
• Must be detail oriented and able to follow directions with minimal supervision.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally and in a team.
• Ability to operate paint spray equipment and related gear.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience required.
• Must read tape measures, drawings, and BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Accomplish daily painting production requirements and complete tasks efficiently.
• Operate paint spray equipment in various positions and use booth equipment as needed.
• Follow safety rules and maintain a safe work environment.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding/grinding before painting.
• Apply primer and finish coats with attention to safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Mix and match paints, clean and maintain spray guns and equipment.
• May expose to fumes; wear appropriate PPE.
• Spend substantial time spray painting and adhere to schedules.
• Attend weekly department safety meetings and follow company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
