Unisig is seeking an experienced industrial painter to apply coatings to precision-machined components, castings and assemblies in a closed, pressurized booth. You will follow prints, mix paints, and ensure defect-free finishes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in an industrial painting environment.
• Must interpret shop prints, travelers, and related documentation.
• Capability to mix paints and apply coatings to achieve required finishes.
• Must maintain safety, cleanliness, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and follow shop prints, travelers, and related documentation to ensure all painting requirements are met.
• Mix paints according to specifications and apply coatings using proper techniques to achieve required finishes.
• Prepare parts for painting by masking, plugging, deburring, and cleaning; remove protective materials after application.
• Safely hang parts on racks or trolleys using appropriate hooks and methods, ensuring proper load distribution.
• Apply coatings using air-assisted, airless, and conventional spray equipment within a controlled booth environment.
• Maintain paint booth, tools, and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition in accordance with preventive maintenance schedules.
• Consistently demonstrate high productivity, attention to detail, and commitment to quality standards.
• Operate material handling equipment as required, including forklifts and overhead cranes.
