Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company in Wisconsin is seeking a Paint Technician to support coating operations, including surface preparation, masking, coating mixing, and applying primer and finishes with airless spray systems.

You will ensure finish quality, inspect for defects, log batch data, follow safety procedures, and read work instructions. This full-time, on-site role offers comprehensive benefits and growth within Modine's Climate Solutions and Performance Technologies teams.

Qualifications

Experience painting industrial, automotive, or commercial equipment.
Knowledge of airless spray systems and two-part coating products.
Ability to read and follow work instructions, schematics, and safety documentation.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces (cleaning, sanding, degreasing) for coating.
Apply masking materials to protect surfaces per drawings or standards.
Mix two-part coatings following specifications and pot life.
Operate airless spray systems to apply primer and finish coats.
Inspect finished parts for defects and document batch data and environmental conditions.
Follow PPE and safety procedures and comply with OSHA/EPA rules.
