Job summary

EQI Ltd. is seeking an Industrial Painter in Williamsport, MD. The role focuses on maintaining equipment and executing painting tasks with HVLP gravity guns and two‑component systems.

The candidate will prep, mask, sand, and apply liquid paint, and must be able to operate forklifts to move materials in production. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and relevant painting certifications or trade schooling preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Driver's license required.
• Certifications for painting or body work or appropriate trade school preferred.
• Experience painting various surface types.
• Proficiency with technical machinery.
• Ability to operate forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Paint iron and steel castings.
• Prepare surfaces and clean prior to painting.
• Maintain painting equipment and keep it in good working order.
• Follow high safety standards and OSHA/HazMat procedures.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
• Use different painting techniques based on surface type.
• Measure paint using cups and gauges; perform touch-ups as needed.
