Job summary

Image National, Inc. is seeking an industrial painter to apply coatings to sheet metal, aluminum, steel, acrylic, wood, and sign foam. You will use HVLP spray guns, brushes, or rollers, mix colors, and ensure even coverage and adhesion.

Safety is essential — wear PPE, inspect finished work, read orders and blueprints, maintain equipment, and communicate with the team to meet deadlines. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and proven painting experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proven experience as industrial/commercial painter.
• Knowledge of surface preparation techniques for multiple substrates (metal, wood, plastic).
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Understanding of proper handling, mixing, and disposal of paint and coatings.

Responsibilities

• Apply paint, varnish, and other coatings using HVLP spray guns, brushes, or rollers according to specifications.
• Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired hues and finishes.
• Ensure consistent coverage, adhesion, and finish quality on metals, plastics, wood, and foam.
• Inspect completed work for defects and adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Maintain, clean, and troubleshoot painting equipment.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear PPE at all times.
• Communicate with team members and supervisors to meet project requirements and deadlines.
• Perform other related duties to support production.
