Job summary

Flex Craft is seeking an experienced Industrial Painter for the 1st shift to prepare, paint, and finish metal parts and fabricated products to meet customer specifications and quality standards. The role requires hands-on experience with industrial spray equipment and a focus on consistent, high-quality finishes.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of painting experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing, knowledge of surface preparation, paint mixing, spray techniques, curing

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of industrial painting experience, preferable in metal fabrication or manufacturing.
• Experience applying powder paint or similar industrial coatings.
• Ability to read work instructions, specifications, and basic manufacturing drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, sanding, grinding, masking, and removing rust, oil, or debris.
• Apply powder paints according to manufacturer and job specifications.
• Operate conventional, HVLP, airless, or electrostatic spray-painting equipment.
• Adjust spray equipment to achieve the proper coverage, thickness, color, and finish.
• Inspect completed work for runs, sags, overspray, missed areas, contamination, and other defects.
• Track paint, materials, and completed work accurately.
