Job summary

Sewer Equipment in Dixon, IL is seeking an Industrial Painter to maintain and operate paint equipment to ensure a high quality finish for their municipal and contractor market.

You will prepare parts, apply coatings with HVLP guns, and help keep the paint shop in top condition while working the night shift Monday-Thursday 8:00 pm–6:30 am. Pay range is $23.70–$30.91 per hour, plus a $2.00 night differential and a $500 sign-on bonus after 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience painting with a sprayer.
• Experience in prepping and applying industrial coatings preferred.
• Familiar with spray equipment maintenance, adjustments and clean-up.
• Forklift experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare parts per procedures for coating application.
• Utilize pressure pot with HVLP guns to apply coatings.
• Maintain paint shop equipment to keep it in top working condition.
• Load and unload part racks.

Job Summary:

The Industrial Painter is responsible for maintaining and operating paint equipment to ensure high quality finish and appearance.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Prepare parts per procedures for coating application
• Utilize pressure pot with HVLP guns to apply coatings
• Must maintain all paint shop equipment to keep it in top working condition
• Load and unload part racks
• Mix paint and tints
• Performs other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Must be able to produce automotive quality finishes
• Basic math skills and understanding how to utilize measuring devices
• Must be able to work as part of a team

Education and Experience:

• 1-2 years’ experience painting with sprayer
• Experience in prepping and applying industrial coatings preferred
• Must be familiar with spray equipment maintenance, adjustments and clean-up
• Forklift experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and painting
• Must have adequate balance and ability to climb ladder
• Must be able to distinguish among colors

Commitments and Location:

• Permanent Full-Time Role Based in Dixon, IL
• Night Shift: Monday-Thursday 8:00 pm – 6:30am

Benefits Include:

• Pay Range of $23.70 - $30.91/hour
• Productivity Bonus, paid quarterly. Average 2025 payout was $7/hour. Payouts are based on overall company profitability, and attendance
