Job summary

Veolia is seeking an Industrial Painter to prep and coat carbon steel frames and brackets, and operate a blast cabinet for small stainless parts. Occasional mechanical tasks if painting demand is low. Must wear a Powered Air Purifying Respirator and be proficient with HLVP systems.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of industrial coatings and metal preparation.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Willingness to cross-train in other fabrication disciplines.
• Basic mathematics skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety, environmental, health and safety policies and procedures.
• Adhere to production work instructions.
• Assist other departments as needed.
• Coordinate activities with other job classifications.
• Read and understand shop orders and bill of materials.
