Job summary

LB Foster in the United States seeks an Industrial Painter II to apply industrial paint finishes on metals or precast products, operate a spray painter and mix paints per specifications, and maintain safety standards in a manufacturing setting.

The role requires following detailed work instructions, setting up and maintaining paint equipment, and collaborating with quality and production teams to identify process improvements while adhering to 5S practices and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 3 years’ experience painting in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
• Ability to work in a high paced environment while maintaining safety standards and following all safe work practices.

As an Industrial Painter II, you will operate a spray painter or other equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metals or precast products and are trained to mix paints and other required solutions.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safe work practices and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area following 5S standards.
• Carryout verbal and written instructions and complete jobs in a timely fashion.
• Read and interpret work instructions, then execute work per instructions.

Experience, Education, Etc.

• Ability to exert 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 30 pounds of force frequently and 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
