Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to learn industrial painting methods, coating systems, and application techniques.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Perform Level I painting and surface preparation activities with guidance and assistance.
• Assist in applying industrial coatings and paints to components and assemblies.
• Operate equipment to control temperature, flow, and composition of coating materials.
• Turn equipment on/off and perform basic cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Prime tanks and support paint line operations.
• Load/unload the paint line as required.
• Dip articles in coating solutions according to procedures.
• Prepare surfaces through sanding, masking, cleaning.
• Maintain painting equipment and PPE; ensure safe, clean work areas.
