Job summary

PK Industrial is currently seeking candidates for Industrial General Labor work in our Augusta, Kansas shop. The role involves painting, surface preparation and related trade tasks on industrial facilities and equipment.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm, 40 hours weekly with potential overtime. Candidates must pass a government background check and be able to access the facility. Pay ranges from $19.00 to $22.00 hourly, based on experience.

Qualifications

• Read, understand and follow work instructions safely and accurately.
• Able to work well with others and independently.
• Good time management and attention to detail.
• Physical work including bending, lifting and extended hours may be required.

Responsibilities

• Industrial General Labor on job sites or refinery environments.
• Perform painting and surface preparation tasks.
• Prepare surfaces by washing, scraping, sanding or sandblasting as needed.
• Mix and apply paints, enamels, epoxies, urethanes and coatings.
• Set up ladders, scaffolding and stage equipment as required.
• Paint and fireproofing work on structures, equipment and piping.
