Job summary

Veolia Group is seeking an Industrial Painter in Minnetonka, MN to prep and coat carbon steel frames, brackets, and small stainless parts using a blast cabinet, with some mechanical tasks when painting demand is low.

You will work with PPE including PAPR, HLVP systems, and be responsible for maintaining equipment and safe practices in a fabrication environment. Training across related disciplines is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability and knowledge in industrial coatings and metal preparation.
• Work as a member of a team and independently.
• Willingness to cross train on other assembly and/or fabrication disciplines.
• Basic mathematics skills.

Responsibilities

• Follows safe work practices and all environmental, health and safety policies and procedures.
• Adheres to production work instructions.
• Assists with other departments as needed.
• Works with and coordinates activities with other job classifications.
• Reads and understands shop orders and bill of materials.
