Job summary

Sabre Industries, Inc. is seeking a skilled Painter & Blaster to support our large pole coating facility. You will prep surfaces, apply liquid coatings, and wrap painted products for shipment while operating heavy equipment and following safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints for accurate coating, achieving consistent dry film thickness, and maintaining paint systems. Prior paint booth/blast and manufacturing experience is highly preferred; weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to obtain STS Crane/Forklift Certification.
• Experience with paint booth/blast and heavy manufacturing is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of basic shop mathematics (add/subtract/fractions/decimals).
• Ability to read tape measures and blueprints is required or learnable.

Responsibilities

• Operate large forklifts and paint/compressor equipment such as guns and hoppers.
• Follow project blueprints to coating dimensions and measurements.
• Prepare surfaces and blast with sand, shot, or grit as required.
• Apply liquid coatings with industrial spray equipment and ensure proper film thickness.
• Maintain and troubleshoot paint equipment and follow SSPC painting practices.
