Job summary

Sabre Industries, Inc. is seeking a Painter & Blaster to support our large pole coating facility. The role involves surface prep, spray application of liquid coatings, and wrapping finished products for shipment.

You will operate heavy equipment, follow SSPC painting practices, and maintain paint systems to high standards while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Ideal candidates have prior paint booth/blast experience, basic math and blueprints reading skills, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Prior paint booth/blast and manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must obtain STS Crane/Forklift Certification.
• Experience using forklifts preferred.
• Basic English reading/writing required.

Responsibilities

• Operate large forklifts and paint equipment.
• Follow blueprints for coating dimensions.
• Prepare and blast with sand, shot, or grit.
• Apply high-build epoxies and use industrial spray equipment.
• Maintain paint equipment and SSPC practices.
• Track labor hours and project data.
• Ensure safe storage and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Follow housekeeping standards.
